TFL CrossFit opened their doors in November 2012 with the goal of providing Mt. Airy with the first and best CrossFit Gym. In the Winter of 2018, original members and coaches Aaron Dorsey and April Johns bought TFL to provide the best workout experience in Mt. Airy.

Located at 2902 Back Acre Circle in Mount Airy, our facilities include:

  • Rowing machines, assault bikes, and GHD machines.
  • Pull-up rigs.
  • 3,000 feet of training space.
  • Top-of-the-line strength, gymnastics, and plyometric equipment.
  • Sport-specific areas for our Olympic lifting and powerlifting classes outfitted with competition-grade gear, lifting platforms, and lifting blocks.

Programs

TFL CrossFit is a fitness training gym providing the ultimate way to get into shape. Our unique strength and conditioning program consists of a variety of functional movements executed at high intensity.

  • TFL CrossFit classes run for 50-60 minutes and are led by certified CrossFit coaches and trainers. We accommodate many different fitness and skill levels simultaneously and design our program to assure anyone can take our classes and get the maximum benefit.

  • TFL Bootcamp program is geared towards revving up your metabolism to a high degree. You will feel like part of a team as we have many features built into the program. No one here goes at it alone - we all show up for a challenge, we all stay to overcome it, and we all

  • This program is designed to help participants better understand and execute the Olympic lifts known as the snatch and the clean and jerk. Taught by USAW Level 1 Sports Performance Coaches, our weightlifting program is a great option for athletes regardless of skill level.

  • TFL CrossFit offers personal training options with our coaches as well. Whether you want to focus on specific goals or just want more personalized training, TFL coaches are certified and ready to help you achieve your goals. Call or use the contact form to request more information.

  • Our Teens program is designed to teach the fundamentals of Crossfit, emphasizing how to move safely and begin to build the strength and skills needed to compete in sports and develop healthy habits.  Coach Bekah has worked with teens of all ages and skill levels, seeing immediate results, increased confidence and the foundation to achieve goals.

Why Choose Us

I started at TFL Crossfit in November and have been so happy there. I am also 7 months pregnant now and have worked with the coaches to modify the things I need to while still getting a great workout. The coaches work with you to get a full workout in each day and make sure you are doing everything with correct form. I was nervous to try crossfit for the first time out of pure intimidation, but have found that everyone is supportive and encouraging!
