TFL Crossfit opened their doors in November 2012 with the goal of providing Mt. Airy with the first and best Crossfit Gym. For 6 years, Mark and Susan Kline did just that. They tirelessly provided an excellent training facility for the Mt. Airy Community. In the Winter of 2018, original members and coaches coaches Aaron Dorsey and April Johns bought TFL to provide the best workout experience in Mt. Airy.
TFL CrossFit had become such an important part of our lives, we jumped at the opportunity to take over and continue to grow with the community. TFL CrossFit is for our members, and we will continue to do everything we can to make it a welcoming place for all skill levels to achieve their fitness goals. The goal of our coaches is to be the bedrock for our athletes to build their fitness. We know how intimidating it can be to go into a new environment and this is why we always go the extra mile to build strong relationships with our athletes. Our coaches are the type of leaders who are always looking to refine their craft through education. We are constantly crafting and refining our teaching techniques in order to provide our athletes with the best training in the area.
Located at 2902 Back Acre Circle in Mount Airy, our facilities include:
3,000 feet of training space.
Rowing machines, assault bikes, and GHD machines.
Top-of-the-line strength, gymnastics, and plyometric equipment.
Sport-specific areas for our Olympic lifting and powerlifting classes outfitted with competition-grade gear, lifting platforms, and lifting blocks.
