I CrossFit because: I love the competition. I love trying to better myself everyday by getting stronger faster and staying in the best shape of my life. Every workout I’m surrounded by a great group of people that push me to be the best I can be. Every day is different and gives me new challenges which keeps it exciting for me. I will always have something to improve on which constantly keeps me striving for more. I love CrossFit so much, I bought one with Aaron!

I coach because: I absolutely love helping athletes reach their goals. Watching them realize their own strengths and push out of their comfort zone to accomplish their goals is inspiring to watch. Seeing a athlete start CrossFit unable to do a pushup, pull up, run a mile, or struggle with mobility restrictions, and then a few months later that same athlete is doing multiple push ups in a work out, doing a strict pull up, running a mile for their warmup, or comfortably sitting in a squat or putting a barbell overhead without pain is an amazing thing to watch. Showing people that yes they can do 1 more burpee is always a great feeling.

If im not Coaching you can find me: exploring the woods with Aaron and the 2 best dogs in the whole world, soaking up sunshine poolside, or planting sunflowers in a field!

Favorite workout or movement: Muscle Ups !!

I CrossFit because: It challenges me every day and gives me energy, focus and drive for everything else I do. I love it so much, I bought one with April!

I coach because: I want to spread what I have learned and how Crossfit has helped me.

I Crossfit because: I like to be challenged and love when people push me to do more and be better.

I coach because: I’m passionate about fitness and love to share that passion with others.

My favorite workout or movement: the burpee (NOT!). It’s probably a tie between Toes to Bar and Clean & Jerk.

I coach because: I love to encourage, help people improve, and support every kind of athlete no matter where they are at.

 I CrossFit because: I love all aspects of it. I originally started Crossfit in 2013 because I always loved high intensity workouts after swimming in college and wanted to get in great shape. Through out the process of becoming in the best shape of my life, I continued with Crossfit because it was challenging and I loved learning new tricks and being able to do things I never thought I could. And now I know I’ll never quit Crossfit because that place has become my home and it is filled with a bunch of people I consider my family! 

I coach because: I coach because it is not only rewarding being a part of someones life changing process, but it is the best feeling being able to help someone learn something new and knowing that you were a part of it. It is the daily personal goals like helping someone get their first muscle up or hit a PR on a lift that keep me going! 

If I’m not coaching you can find me: you can either find me with my friends, eating some delicious food or traveling the world! 

My favorite workout or movement: I love lunges, or pretty much anything to get a nice booty burn! 

My spirit animal: My spirit animal is a dolphin! They get to swim all day and they are sweet and cute, who wouldn’t want to be a dolphin??

I CrossFit because: It is the absolute best fitness I have ever done in my entire life. The camaraderie, the challenge and the competition are second to none!

I coach because: I love helping and watching people achieve physical and mental goals that they never thought possible.

If I’m not Coaching can find me: Teaching martial arts, women’s self defense, hanging out with the family or drinking an IPA!

My favorite workout or movement: The Snatch! If you asked me when I started CrossFit 6 years ago if that would ever be my favorite movement I would have said NFW! However I have learned that it is the quintessential movement for full body fitness. The ability to perform a heavy snatch consistently and efficiently takes years of patience and persistence and challenges even the most competent athlete.

My spirit animal: The White Tiger. No really, that is my spirit animal given to me by my Sensei when I received my 2nd Degree Black Belt in Tang Soo DO

I coach because: people want to lift heavier and faster, and I want to help them move weight safely. And because weightlifting is fun.

I CrossFit because: It’s a quick and easy way to get the engine fired up. In addition, I enjoy developing efficient movement patterns.

I coach because: I enjoy helping others achieve their goals.  

If I’m not coaching you can find me: In a coffee shop on my computer with a fresh Americano.

My favorite workout or movement: The clean and jerk. For some odd reason I catch myself often fantasizing underneath a heavy clean and jerk.

My spirit animal: An elephant, I’m in this for the long haul.
